Day by day

Day 1
Arrival in Kigali

Day 2
Kigali to Volcanoes
A scenic drive north to the Volcanoes National Park, arriving at a luxury forest lodge.
Day 3
Gorilla trek
An early trek into the bamboo forest for a private hour with a mountain gorilla family.
Day 4
Golden monkeys or Dian Fossey
A second trek to see golden monkeys, or a hike to Dian Fossey's research camp.
Day 5
Lake Kivu
Transfer to a private lakeside lodge on Lake Kivu for kayaking, relaxation, and a sunset boat.
Day 6
Departure
A final morning by the lake, then a private road transfer back to Kigali for your flight.
